Landmark Judgments

·  The Supreme Court of India in the case of Izhar Ahmad Khan Vs. Union of India, 1962 held that "If it is shown that the person has acquired foreign citizenship either by naturalisation or registration, there can be no doubt that he ceases to be a citizen of India in consequence of such naturalisation or registration."
